E-Recycling Centers

E-waste is electronic products nearing the end of their "useful life." Many of these products can be reused, refurbished, or recycled. Most electronic devices contain a variety of materials, including metals, that can be recovered for recycling. Recycling your electronics saves resources and protects the Earth because new metals don't have to be mined. In addition, some of these electronics contain lead which can be a hazardous waste when disposed.

It is illegal in California to put in the trash any of the following: batteries, fluorescent lights, TVs, computers, and all electronic items with a circuit board (VCRs, printers, stereos, radios, microwaves, telephones).
