Pasadena Urbanization

The city of Pasadena has done a great job with urbanization. Builders and planners have made it convenient for people who ride the train to work to be close to metro stations. Recently I have observed an increasing number of buyers requesting to be near mass transportation. The Metro Gold Line light rail, which spans 13.7 miles, transports passengers from Sierra Madra Villa in East Pasadena to downtown Los Angeles. Along the way the light rail makes stops in Highland Park, South Pasadena, and China Town.

My mom rides the MetroLink everyday to Orange County, where she works. This saves her a lot of money on gas and gives her the gift of time. The train is great because you don't need to worry about sitting in traffic, you can get work done, catch up on e-mails, or read that book that you keep putting aside until you have extra time.
