So You Want to Buy a Short Sale?

After waiting 3 months and finally getting some good news about my short sale, my buyer decided that he no longer wanted to proceed with purchasing this condo. Since February, the market has changed as well as property values. After reviewing comparables we determined that this condo was no longer worth what it worth was back in February. My client could purchase a nicer and bigger condo for less then the offer we wrote on the short sale. The condo will now go back to active on the MLS and the process will start back at square one. So after hearing about all of these wonderful things about short sales do you still want to buy a short sale? Hopefully after reading about my short sale experience you will learn to beware of short sales.
