LA Hoodwinked

Do you think a vacant foreclosure property in your neighborhood is bringing down your home's value? If you have noticed a home that appears to be vacant and is not being properly maintained you can upload a picture on LA Hoodwinked and add the vacant foreclosure on your block to the map with details and the property address. According to LA Hoodwinked, Los Angeles has a new complaint-based system that allows the city to collect $1,000 a day from banks that don’t maintain foreclosures. It's pretty amazing to see how many homes appear each day on the map. By now if you live in Los Angeles County you have probably seen several vacant foreclosures that are not being properly maintained.

This home above is located on a beautiful street in La Cañada and from the looks of it, is very unpleasant for neighbors to see everyday on their street. According to MLS records this unfinished construction home is a short sale and is currently being sold as is. And if you weren't scared enough already, the agent remarks state: "Enter property at own risk."
