You Can't Always Choose Your Neighbors

Northwest Glendale Celebrity Home
Remember the story about the actress Eva La Rue fighting the City of Glendale on her gate height that this Northwest Glendale Real Estate blogger wrote about? The neighbor objected to the gate, saying that none of the homes on their street had gates blocking the front doors. Well interestingly enough, the neighbor that complained about Eva's gate put her home on the market 4 months after the gate was ruled to be taken down by the City of Glendale.

The neighbor listed her home for $719,000 back in June and it has now been sitting on the market for 107 days. Well finally after 3 months the seller has decided to reduce the price by $29,000.  I showed my buyers this home when it was first listed on the market, but they felt the home was overpriced. Imagine having to be in escrow with this neighbor!
