2013 Fourth of July Events Around La Canada Flintridge


 


4th of July Block Party at Grand Park

Experience the 4th in a whole new way! Pack your family and friends, puppies and picnics and head to Grand Park to see Downtown LA light up in a spectacle not to be missed! All day picnicking, splashing, food trucks, and grubbing. Music begins at 3:00 PM. Go Metro! Take the Red and Purple Lines to the Civic Center Station.

87th Americafest Celebration at the Rose Bowl
1001 Rose Bowl Dr, Pasadena

July 4, 2:00 PM
Celebrate America with music, food and fireworks. There will be food vendors, entertainment, crafts, exhibits and inflatable rides for the kids outside the stadium. There will also be food for sale inside the stadium. No outside food or drink is allowed. Families may picnic or “Tailgate” on the grassy area outside the Rose Bowl. The event includes a live TNT motorcycle stunts and a special performance by Mariachi Divas & Kenny G at 7 p.m. and the biggest fireworks show in Southern California produced by PyroSpectaculars by Souza at 9:00 PM.

Centennial Parade: Annual 4th of July Parade
1485 Virginia Rd, San Marino
July 4, 4:00 PM
Young children on decorated bikes and accompanied by an adult are welcome and encouraged to participate in the hometown parade. Bikes parade in a special section at the front, and no registration is needed; bands are also welcome. Registration is required to anyone who wants to drive a vehicle in the parade. 4th of July Wristbands are also required to enter at all times. Door-to-door shuttle service will be available for senior citizens (65 and older). Enjoy community socializing, entertainment, dinner and beverages. Dinner and entertainment will be at 7:00 PM and fireworks display at approximately 9:00 PM. Advance reservations are required.


Crescenta Valley Fireworks Assosciation

This year's event will be the 7th event put on by the Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association with the help and guidance of past event chairs and our volunteer committee. The event will be held at the La Crescenta Elementary School Playground. There will be a selection of great rides for the whole family and some awesome Food Trucks.

Josh Groban July 4th Fireworks Spectacular at the Hollywood Bowl

Celebrate the Fourth at the Bowl’s annual party. This year’s spectacular includes Josh Groban, patriotic music and thrilling fireworks.

A loaf of bread, a jug of wine, and wow! Enjoy series of evenings of live music presented by some of the coolest jazz artists in the Southland. Bring a picnic, lawn chairs and some friends for a wonderful evening under the Descanso oaks. For July 4th, it’s Graham Dechter. Guitarist, composer and arranger Dechter’s sophomore release, “Takin’ It There,” climbed to #1 on the JazzWeek charts in 2012. Lawn seating for this event is first-come, first-served.

Formerly known as Thursday Nights on El Molino, the Playhouse District Block Party features wine tasting at Monopole Wine, coffee from Zona Rosa Caffe, crafting at Little Junebugs and a variety of gourmet food truck offerings.


Sierra Madre 4th of July Parade

The Sierra Madre 4th of July Parade is an annual tradition and represents the hometown spirit of the Sierra Madre community! The parade features community members, organizations, classic cars, a marching band, kids on their decorated bikes and so much more. Parade participation is open to all; young, young-at-heart, and everything in between.


Starlight Bowl - July 4th Salute to America

On Independence Day, the Starlight Bowl kicks off its Summer Concert Series with a celebration of the "Pride of America" an evening of fun for the entire family filled with upbeat and patriotic music and a spectacular fireworks show. Fireworks begin at 9:00 PM
