2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics

When I was younger I really enjoyed going to the Pasadena Ice Skating Center to practice moves that I watched during figure skating competitions. I had 2 birthday parties there and rented the rink for my friends and I to ice skate. During the 1994 Winter Olympics I liked watching Nancy Kerrigan, from team USA, fight for the gold medal against Oksana Baiul from the Ukraine. In the end, Oksana Baiul went home with the gold medal and Nancy Kerrigan won the silver medal. I was disappointed but a lot of people did think Kerrigan should have won. I never had a coach but I think if I did not play soccer I would have liked to pursue figure skating. I still enjoy watching figure skating competitions on TV and I'm excited to see Mirai Nagasu from Arcadia, CA and Rachel Flatt from Colorado Springs, CO compete this year in Vancouver Winter Olympics.
